I was asked a while back a scenario and it went like this. Pyramid is in play player one plays Amanda Steal or Pysche player two has their hand exposed already So the question is how do you accomplish the random draw? I told him that I would have player two shuffle and relay his cards while player one picks a card with his eyes closed since they are all face up. What do you think? Headswillroll

I am assuming that this is a joke...
Just pick up the dang cards, shuffle them in your hand, make the person choose a discard at random and then lay the cards back down on the table.

As frivilous as this does sound, I was asked this, I believe that the intent of the person was to see if they could view the cards while they picked which is against the intent of the cards. I figured I would throw it out there for the heck of it. Headswillroll

Yep, shuffle and grab one at random without seeing them is how I'd do it.

Is there a 1e Event card that forces your opponent to draw up to his ability at the beginning of his next turn? For some reason I thought I read that on a card several days ago and now I cannot find it.

Impressive Move from Watcher's Chronicles.
"With a flourish of movement, you force your opponent to react instinctively. At the beginning of your opponent's next turn, he must draw up to his full Ability. You may play another Event this turn."

Holy ground (SE) will also do the trick.
You may only play this card during your Defense Phase. You avoid all Attacks not already successful this turn. All players must discard 4 cards and draw up to their Ability. Your Defense Phase ends. You must skip your Attack Phase this turn.

Another question. After I have played my defenses and my defense phase is over, can I play a Trip(event) and then play my attacks so my opponent has to discard any standing defenses before defending the attack(s) I play?

Short answer: yes.
Long answer: the trip is a must do effect, so it occurs at the start of their turn, long before they get a chance to use them in their defense phase.

Another Question: I have Mountain Cave Location in play. I play my defense phase and resolve the incoming attacks. I then do my attack phase, making my attack(s) hidden. The I play the Circle Location. Are my attacks still hidden since I made them in the Mountain Cave then we moved to THe Circle?

Question #3. Are Situations played under Hidden Resources in play in reguards to Focus or A Master's Focus?

The attacks are still hidden even if the cave leaves play.
Situations under hidden resources are still in play, so can be focused.

Just don't ask me about anything that would be useful in earning lots of money. I seem to have a complete lack of know how in that area. Too much CCG and RPG trivia in my head to hold much else.
