I have 3 Rules questions for 1E (as I have never played outside my little group which includes me and a friend)
1.) Has Duncan's MHS been errated to be a special attack? If not it can be hidden correct?
2.) Are the Darius (pregame +1 Master) and the Darius(+1 restricted) Considered the same for Uniquness or can I have both?
3.) Can a player have more than 1 Pregame +1 premium If not than what good is the Duncan pregame (+2 Pregame) card.

As far as I know, Duncan's MHS is still non-special, so it can be hidden. That's part of its uber-power.
Also, as far as I know, you can have one of each Darius Pregame... But you should keep in mind that this would mean you could only have 4 more Darius cards in your deck, because there is still a limit of 6 cards of the title 'Darius'

Hi 1) yep Duncan's MHS can be hidden. However you have to declare that the hidden attack is a power blow so your opponent will probably guess what the attack is.
2) You can have both but only one of each. Bit like Quickenings really. You can have 6 in play (If you don't use a persona card) but they all have to be different Q's.
3) No you can only have one +1 Pre game. What is the use of the Duncan +2 - how long have you got...extra Quickening ..extra arms and tactics card, extra WoC, etc.
Hope that helps

A 1e rules question. After you play a card, how long dose your opponent have to counter it or RIP it? Do you ask them if they want to or do you just have to pause for thier reaction? Thanks

Just a pause should do , in my opinion ! Also depends on opponents , by that I mean a slow playing dude I might not give him the time as he is already slow playing to begin with . But I think common courtesy is a few seconds pause .

For most stuff I wait a second, and for important cards I wait a couple seconds. That's if I wait at all. Usually I just play my cards. If they want to interrupt or even make me back up a card or two that's fine.

If you are playing with a MCBC pre-game, can your opponent counter/RIP his TCG card on your master cards?

Due to changed wording, they can if they're using a 2e rip card (assuming it doesn't have the symbol).

... 2) You can have both but only one of each. Bit like Quickenings really. You can have 6 in play (If you don't use a persona card) but they all have to be different Q's. ... When was this changed? Not disagreeing with you but I know back in the day it did not used to be true, i've seen several multiple pre-game darius decks at national tourneys. I'll have to take a look in the handbook.

It's in the rulebook, not the handbook.

From the Rulebook -
Pre-Game Cards: These cards typically do not have the standard Highlander logo on the back. These cards are played before the game begins. They do not count toward the total number of cards in your Endurance. You may only use six Pre-Game cards. In addition, you cannot use more than one of any Pre-Game card.

In reply to the timing issue, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back in the day, we would give a couple of seconds pause on possible cards to be ripped depending on your decks and then move on unless they said "wait a minute, I might rip that" then I would give them a moment to mull it over and then say "are you gonna rip or not". What is the current ruling on Slan's Shooting Blade? Before the game died off they had ruled that it required you to have a free hand to use it. If anything it should make you have two hands on the same weapon, like he does in the picture.
