If you had the ability to make immortal powers what would they be:
Colin MacLeod:
Marcus Octavius:
The Chainsaw Guy (Need name)
Japanese Girl (Need Name also)

I don't know about THEIR abilities, but I think a good one for Nakano would be: "At the begining of your turn, you may place up to 2 cards from your hand to the top of your Endurance." Then, either his persona cards or other aspects of his ability would be attribute check based. Maybe a little strong, but I think it suits him well.

Heya!
While "Vengence" DOES in fact suck, it sucks far less than "The Source". I hope that if a set is going to be made but a decision between the two have to be made, PLEASE go with "Vengence".

Maybe they could make "The Source" the expansion set if they have to make it.

Or maybe they could add scooby and the gang into the next expansion too? Oh well I will never win my "destroy all anime" crusade. But I still say it sucked. Like we need another mcload . I would have much rather seen a all new imortal or at least a nonscotish one.

Umm, in case you haven't noticed the name of the franchise is "THE HIGHLANDER". If we had a nonscottish one what would we call it? I have a number of ridiculous names, but will restrain myself on listing the all.

If you had the ability to make immortal powers what would they be: Colin MacLeod: 5 8 6 3 3 Something defensive to represent his tenacity and/or dumb luck. I'd give him Hugh's damage prevention ability (for Toughness) if Hugh didn't already have it. Some kind of healing would be appropriate to reflect how often he gets beaten down and keeps coming back, but a permanent healing effect would be too powerful. Hmm....maybe his hand size is the average between his current and maximum ability, rounded up? So effectively, his hand size is only reduced by half the damage he's taken? He should have a persona-specific Holy Ground with little drawback. 7 4 6 2 6 Some weapon-breaking cards, obviously. Probably not as his persona power, though. His main trait seemed to be arrogance or contempt, but I can't think of something that would reflect that. He rarely got hit; something similar to Duncan's ability (discard a to play a dodge against an undodgeable attack?) might fit, but could be too similar to Duncan. For the contempt thing, I want to say something involving discarding from his hand makes sense, but beyond that I'm not sure. Malike, I think. Seemed like your fairly standard slow, tough, strong villain to me. The chainsaw sword was the only thing that really distinguished him, but I can't see that going into a persona power. Something very similar to Slan, if I had to say. Didn't catch her name. Very agile; cool stuff with the spikes, but that's another item-based trait that wouldn't really fit on the persona. Maybe something with hidden attacks, if it doesn't step on Zachary Blaine too much.

Crap! I heard this anime was coming out a while back but I forgot about it... must see it....
Personally, I have yet to hate anything "Highlander"... because I am a true fan, and realize that each artistic endeavor in this "universe" is just that... an expression of the individual trying their hand at fixing something that ain't broke.

I'm with gabe. I have a tendency to like all things Highlander. Yes the Source included. I could pick nits about the movies, but I am okay being able to see at least something when there is not a series on TV.

I don't think it sucked... Like every movie to come out after the original, I just think it sucked as a Highlander movie. As an unrelated productions that happens to deal with swords, immortality, and beheadings most of the Highlander stuff has been pretty good. Ok...not the Raven. That sucked on pretty much all levels. If I had to see a card set come out for one or the other, I would say go with 'The Source'. It was absolutely craptacular as a Highlander film, but kinda enjoyable from a b-movie perspective. And, I love pretty much all B movies. Besides taken on their own merits, the source has at least 3 new immortals that would be worth playing. I would be hard pressed to really want to play anything based on Vengeance. Honestly though after looking at the new card spoiler for Ramirez, I'm having a hard time envisioning buying any 2nd Ed cards. Ramirez just reminds me way too much of the Methos and Duncan tins from the 1st Ed, and pretty much all of the SAEC cards. I hate to be harsh, but to me it just looks like overpowered crap made to justify the excessive cost. But hey, that's just me.

How is Ramirez over powered? True he has some nifty abilities but I do not believe Duncan, Grayson, or Hugh Fitzcairn will have any problem with him. In fact any imortal or deck that does not rely on dodges or the persona abilitie will have very little problems in my oppinion. Slan on the other hand is screwed. BUt hey ever imortal has his antithesis.

Heya!
I think Zarth and Russell are both right, depending on which edition you are playing. In 1ed, Ramirez is automatically a power player based on the cards they have given him anda few others that he can steal. In 2ed, he is more balanced because everybody is limited by what they can put into thier deck.
btw- Zarth is RIGHT on the money comparing Ramirez to the Duncan/Methos tin sets. His persona in 1ed is overpowered and he has cards that are glaringly left unsignatured so that certain OTHER immortals may use them.
