Anybody else been following the Highlander Comic from Dynamite. It's not bad though the art is a little generic. Present story picks up after Connor takes Kurgan's head and deals with the consequences of having ruffled the feathers (so to speak) of the Kurgan Clan. As with most things from Dynamite, there are multiple covers for each issue. I think there have been 3, so far (0, 1, and 2) though issue number 3 might be out or should be out soon.

OK, I rumaged. Only issue 0 and issue 1 are out. This is what happens when you are old and you read too much.

To call the art generic is generous, but hey, it's new material, new immortals. Connor's character doesn't really seem to match the film but I'm an addict for Highlander so I will read it. I just got #2 tonight.

Dynamite actually has a nice stable of licenses right now with Highlander, Battlestar Galactica, Xena, and Red Sonja.

I would love to do an expansion based on the comic book, but I have yet to be able to get in contact with them as of yet.

Comic has been pretty decent so far. I like the art (but I've been known to be more forgiving than most The writers are where it's at for me, though - Michael Avon Oeming, co-creator of Bulletproof Monk, wrote one of the best Thor stories in recent memory with the Ragnarok end of Asgard. And Brandon Jerwa, has been one of the better GI Joe writers since the comic came back - he wrote the Snake Eyes: Declassified origin story. Can't wait for Duncan.
