Mcrow,
If you are going to "thin the herd" based on people who don't like mike and are vocal about it, this will be a pretty small group.
Mike has wronged alot of people over the years and bad feelings die hard...
My understanding is that you are new to the game and the controversy surrounding it...as such you do not have as much of a personal stake in this as the rest of us old timers do...
My 2 cents
Cy

My 2 cents Cy I'm very clued into the situation. I have read everything people have said here and on the yahoo group. I have read the court cases against Thunder Castle Games. So, it's not like I don't know what everyone thinks and what has happened in the past. here's a shocker: It's nothing new in the CCG business. I'm not saying people have to like him, I'm just asking people to wipe the slate clean and see how the new set looks and how HL 2ed goes from here on out. Runnin down the owner, only hurts the game. Do you think a new player is going to play a gam where it's owner is constantly being called out on the game "official" forums? I think not. So, i say we leave all the bad stuff in the past and talk about HL like the great game it is. I'm not going to argue the policy, if you or anyone else does not like it, they can take it to the yahoo group. No offence, that's just the way it's going to be.

Bravo I hate drama. This site should be for the game nothing else. I dont have to like Bill Gates to buy windows. It matters not at all to me who owns highlander just that is is produced.

The way Mike manages things affects the game, you can't isolate it. If you thought Bill Gates would put out a half-baked Windows and might go bust and never put the rest out, would you buy Windows? Who knows if we will even get the Ramirez set... Mike doesn't deliver on even his simplest promises like communicating regularly. He evades the truth (what a generous statement!) both on and off this forum. Add this to his appalling track record and no wonder people are grumpy.
If Mike will remove himself from the production of the game, like license it to someone else, he will remove himself as baggage. He should have done that from the start, it would probably have been a better commercial decision for him and everyone else.
