I banned both Mike Sager and Ken from this site.
I feel that all that comes of these two posting on this site is bad publicity for the game.
When and if the licensing dispute is resolved they will be allowed to post again.
If anyone has an issue with this they can email me mcrow24@yahoo.com

Actually, not a terrible idea.
Even when they are ready to make an official statement, they could actually just relay it through you or other moderators.

well the bannings are official. To be honest, I have no idea who actually owns the rights to publish highlander games. Both Ken and Mike claim they own the rights. The are both banned until I can confirm who actually owns them.

I put in a call to MGM as well as email, so if I get any info I will let you know as well. I think banning is perfectly legit, this is for game discussions not business disputes. When all is said and done, press releases should come via official websites and we can link to them. Cheers for taking the initiative.

I went via the wrong channel I think, I enquired with customer service at Davis Merchandising. Their response went like:
I apologize for the inconvenience but Customer Service and Customer Relations do not have information on matters of this kind; please feel free to direct your question(s) to: LEGENDARY HEROES ...
but I don't think that would help :/

I think they both have issues but problem is one of them is the future of Highlander ,if there is a future beyond MLE .

Well I don't see it as being a problem if one of them is the future, as long as they do a good job of it. Like... market the game, promote it, support tournaments, produce a high quality product, and keep the players fully informed. You can understand that if there is a business dispute with large sums of money at stake, that there would be arguments and some points of view might not be consistent. Clearly a lot has happened behind the scenes and it is only playing out publicly now because a resolution wasn't reached over some time. Given what has already occurred (either or both versions), the issue surely had to come up in the forums and compel the parties to duel on the topic, because "..." I don't need to use the catchphrase, you all know it.

Unfortunately. I concur that banning them is the best idea. I believe in the first amendment. but there rantings are going nowhere. Do you have an idea on when this "press release" is coming? or whats in it? Thanks Cy PS- Did you happen to mail my four Master's Blocks for Duncanyet? They are the ones I won off Ebay.
