Oh well. Had to try. What about a sneak peak at the persona names? I'm guessing Ramirez is in it. Speaking of which, do you know if the legal issues were worked out? Will we be seeing Connery's face on cards?

This is not that set. The sets go out like this: Odd sets (1,3, 5 and so on) are Starter/Booster sets and even sets are booster sets. Rameriz actually comes out in Set 3, and Movie 2 comes out in Set 4.
We will be rotating seasons and movies so they come out in order.

Ah. Cool. I'd missed the production lineup. That sounds cool though, give each immortal a little shot in the arm in between the "base" sets.
Is the one set every 3 months schedule that I saw at one point going to be stuck with? It remains to be seen of course, but it feels like that would overwhelm the buying power of the players and drive some people away.

Are sets are not 300 Cards large, the are small infusions of either 150 to 175 cards and the booster sets are just 75.

Good news about the small sets. At first glance I thought that might not be so good, but of course, if we get numerous small sets then we end up with more cards in the long run. Combined with the fact that we're told there'll be no basics in boosters, then it should be relatively easy to get a full set. The boosters have 9 cards, correct, what is the rare, uncommon, common ratio? Do premiums replace rares when we get them or uncommons or commons?

This is not that set. The sets go out like this: Odd sets (1,3, 5 and so on) are Starter/Booster sets and even sets are booster sets. Rameriz actually comes out in Set 3, and Movie 2 comes out in Set 4. We will be rotating seasons and movies so they come out in order. So if I am reading your post correctly, you are working on the MAR 01 Set 1 now. Then you state Rameriz is going to be in Set 3. But your statement doesn't line up with this previously posted information: 2007 Release Schedule December 15 2006 TCG151206 Beta Set Decks and Boosters January 15 2007 TCG150107 Beta Set Expansion Boosters only March 1 2007 TCG010307 Set 1: Ramirez Edition Movie Decks and Boosters May 1 2007 Set 2 TCG010507 Boosters only July 1 2007 TCG010 707 Set 3: The Gathering TV Decks and Boosters September 1 2007 TCG010907 Set 4: Boosters only November 1 2007 TCG011107 Set 5: Decks and Boosters So, one set of info says Ramirez comes out in Set 1 on MAR 01. Your set of info says Ramierz comes out in Set 3. Perhaps you should correct one of these sets of information so we do not have conflicting information floating around the web. If I am in error with my interpretation, please let me know. Personally, I think this release schedule and set size is less than optimal. You guys should've released the entire 150 card beta set on 15DEC. Then released a 200-250 card set on MAR01 that was a combination of your sets 1&2. This would be your core set. Then on AUG01, right before Gencon, put out your first 150 card expansion set. This would encompass your sets 3&4. Both sets in 2007 should've been decks and boosters format. There you go. Two good size sets in one year. Beta comes out first to give you data to balance out your two 2007 releases. Why drag out your beta testing into two different releases? A release schedule needs to be something an average player can understand, plan for and collect. Dropping a half assed mini set every 2-3 months is confusing and will just tick off your player base. But this is, of course, only my opinion. CSMOKEMAN

Thanks for clearing up the inconsistency. Now all the facts and info "jive" and I can move from the realm of confused to unconfused.
