MTG got me started on CCG's but Highlander kept me in them. Since the beginning of Highlander CCG I have come and gone from the game. In between those times I have played MTG, Overpower, Rage, 7th Sea (Awesome), RAW Deal, Doomtown, Nightmare Before Christmas and likely many more I cannot recall including board games, dice games and a few RPG's. The bottom line is I am always jacked to play Highlander. There seems to be a 'rush' that comes from this game that I get from no other. Just wanted to express my gratitude for keeping such a great game alive. kurganfan keeps running tournaments month after month, year after year for ~3 players in all of Los Angeles and still we play and love the game. dbaker for making and supplying product. prowler7 for all the endless rules questions. To the few players remaining and still in the Gathering, thanks. I know I bust a lot of people nuts but hopefully everyone knows I'm joking (especially that kid from the UK nkeates). Looking forward to the upcoming Cons. ...and of course Mr. Sager for creating the game. PS. Thank you beer Peace out. Lex (Jeff)

Thank you for sticking around.
There are a lot of choices out there, we here at Highlander are glad you choose us.
I too would like to thank the players, the tournament directors, dbaker and headswillroll for everything they have given to this game.
Heading in to GenCon season, we all get our mettle tested , and I can't wait to see what you all bring to the table.

Dude, you played Rage and skipped Buffy CCG?? You didn't play the 24 card game as bada$$ Jack Bauer?? On a serious note, I happily drove 2 hours from my home to Santa Barbara to support the Highlander events Donati was running, even though I had just gotten into the 2nd edition and had few cards and no Q's. Metro was the ONLY store in Cali selling cards at the time. I've driven the 400-ish miles to Sacramento for the regionals when Randall (I think that was his name) ran events, and I have several 5k count boxes of cards. My interest hasn't been piqued by the amazing film sequels or the tv shows that are 15 years cancelled. The game hasn't always had a smooth or pleasant run but I'd still rather play and lose at Highlander than play and win MTG. Other than that Midwest regional abortion at ShaunCon back in the day, my Highlander tourney memories are pleasant and drama free. The game is headed in a great direction, keep up the good work.

It seems EVERYBODY came to that. My wife and I volunteered at that event, so I didnt play. There were SO MANY people who came to town for that event.

Yeah I was there, the day the Shriners or whomever kicked us out of the main ballroom and the event finished at McDonalds or wherever. I had a plane to catch so never got to finish. Fun times... Never got to Gen Con that year, just got a promotion and couldn't get the time off.
