Since all the cool kids are doing it, I figured I might as well go along. If you all jump off a bridge, expect me to follow.
Actually, I want to post this deck because I want you all to get a look at how we (the Designers) view deck building. This is a fun deck. I played this deck once at a local tourney, and brought it with me to GenCon in case I needed a deck for a pick up game.

I put only 1 copy of each dual icon card in the deck because it sacrifices safety to get its theme going. Also, since this is a fun deck and not meant to go against speed, I know I can take a couple turns to get my toolbox back again without a lot of worry. Notable holes in the deck are protection against direct damage and prevention of Exerting. Since this is a fun deck, I did not "batten down the hatches" with toolbox (I had plenty of room) and decided I could live with those two weaknesses.
What I want players reading this to come away with is this - Here is a 49 card deck that has a fair amount of toolbox and will have its theme cards in every opening Hand. The addition of even 5-6 more cards would not significantly slow the deck down and would solidify the toolbox protection.
Over the next year, we are going to preach toolbox a lot, and I plan to show more decks like this one that moves quickly, while enjoying adequate protection.
