I have been asked a few times about this subject so figured to throw it out there. There is no reason to worry if you only have 2ed card and want to play Type One format. The format was designed with this in mind to evolve as the entire game evolves. Just don't include the bugged cards and don't worry about the gem counts during deck construction. 2ed has produced enough product to easily build a Type One deck only using the 2ed cards. We have quite a few players that have adjusted their decks in the past to either format and play just as effectively and competitively. So for anyone else considering this quandary, try it out and enjoy.
