Well, everyone is aware of the issues we had trying to get the updated rule book out for the last few months. With this in mind, we have added more needed updates and the necessary entries pertaining to the Season 4 set. Thorr has graciously agreed to help Prowler and I, as well as the community, by posting the new rule books on the forum. Thank you to Thorr for doing this. Thorr just received the information today, so bear with him while he accomplishes this task. As usual, the 2010 rule book will supersede any prior rules or rule books and begins it's three week induction period today, March 5th 2010. Thank you to all that have asked questions and made suggestions to better the game.

Brilliant work Jim, steve and anyone else who contributed. Sorry guys to be the first one to say but I think the rulebook is wrong (Yep there has to be one smart alec rules lawyer doesn't there) Below is a clarification on Off-Hand Weapons Of Choice: Off-Hand Weapons of Choice: Off Hand Weapons Of Choice have a sideways Hand Icon printed on the back of the card. An Off Hand Weapon of Choice is still a One Handed Weapon of Choice. Off Hand Weapons of Choice are designed to be played with other Weapons of Choice but can be played singularly. If the text states that it must be played with another Weapon of Choice, then it is to be played with either a Primary Weapon of Choice or another Off-Hand Weapon Of Choice. If the text says that it may be played with another Weapon of Choice, then it may be played with either a Primary Weapon of Choice or another Off Hand Weapon of Choice , or by itself. This is effective immediately. The previously posted rules quote was from an incorrect copy of the rules. The Design Team is hoping to have the full Rulebook available soon. The rulebook still states that off hand weapon of choice cannot be played singularly. Sorry guys. N

Thank you for the praise!
As editor, I take full responsibility for the error on Off Hand Weapons Of Choice. I left off a crucial part of the final sentence. See the March 2010 Type Two Rulebook Update thread for the fix

For anyone interested, I have an Epub edition of the Highlander Type Two March 2010 Rulebook. If you send me a PM with your email address, I will send you a copy. How you get it on your mobile device is up to you.
