Pre-Raven, The Gathering version reprint of Jack Donovan was an errata'd reprint of the Movie version of Jack. Is this still true in the current type 1 rules or can you play either version?
Jack Donovan (Movie Edition - Type 1) You are not required to play a card on your turn while Jack Donovan is in play.
Jack Donovan (The Gathering - Type 1) You may discard this card from play instead of playing a card on your turn. You do not have to make an Exertion for not playing any cards this turn.

There is no erata in the Type 1 rule book. I believe you can use either version.

Yeah, definitely not in the Type 1 Rulebook. I am wondering if it even needs to be though because the reprint is the actual errata.

They both work as they are worded.

Correct, they are different versions, and each has it's own uses.

Wasn't the Movie version Jack Donovan once limited to one per deck? It currently allows 6 in a deck but only one in play at the same time since the text does not specifically say you may have more. I think so..

I think so.. Please read the entire post. It has nothing to do with restriction number. If that's what your talking about.

Yes it was Jerry, eons ago, when we were all younger. Now it is a printed, either version. The card is being watched, so do your worst.
