Can you ignore when your opponent plays Basset and Hotchkiss if you have Secret Identity (Methos) in play? I'm wondering if that is considered as "targeting" Methos.

If memory serves Secret Id will let you ignore any event that doesn't target things you have in play. So it would work against challenge and basset, but not cards like police or investigation. Hope this helps.
