Greetings all
I'm sorry for the delay in posting this event, I've had a lot of other things that I needed to take care and this will unfortunately be a short review, however, a review none the less.
First off Chris couldn't play, then my roomate said to me that Wilson and Tony weren't going to play either, whether it's because Chris didn't play or they follow one mind ( kidding guys - or am I ) regardless, my roomate hit the nail on the head because Wilson and Tony didn't play and that meant Brian wouldn't play so we lost 4 people for our event
Fortunately Jeff showed up from LA thanks man, and we had Ryan, Carlos, Jeff, Me and Jon for the tournament, a little smaller than we wanted, but none the less.
Jeff - Slan: Taunt ( I hate Taunt ) Power Blowing
Cat - The Kurgan - sneaky special ( deck coming soon )
Jon - Malick - hit, hit, hit harder
Carlos - Galen - Um, Dirty Trick much
Ryan - Marcus Octavious - I play more stuff than you.
Round 1
Jeff vs. Cat
Did I mention that I HATE Taunt, however, Jeff has a good deck and he's a good player. I enjoy playing him. Now that he has some more cards he'll be able to play someone else SOMEONE NEW without TAUNT . . . I don't want to see General Katana
Regardless, Jeff ended up winning because I could never seemingly get my cards to work for me or I couldn't play them which is why I hate TAUNT, and in case you forgot . . . well I won't mention it again.
0-1
OTHERS:
Jon vs. Carlos - Carlos won
Ryan vs. the mysterious stranger we call BYE!
Game 2
Carlos
yeah, fun, right, no. . . fortunately I had the Skull Helmet out and the War Horse so I wasn't to worried about his "Prone" crap, I did manage to get rid of his bonus damage card, but it came back . . . and again I didn't get my stuff to make my deck work . . . seriously this deck is good and it will work and I will make it work, however, I lost again . . . so
0-2
OTHERS:
Jeff vs. Ryan - Jeff won because Ryan made a HUGE mistake in the beginning at least that's what he says and we have to believe him
Game 3
Hey look it's the mysterious BYE person, I so kicked his butt all over the place, head shot on the first turn and he forgot to draw his 15th card, totally my win . . . *yawn*
However, in the third round, Jeff played Carlos and Jon played Ryan and in the end, Jon had Ryans hand so clogged with stuff that he couldn't use because Jon played a location where no other locations could be played and Ryan had no way to get rid of it, and eventually Jon CHAINSAWED Ryans head . . . ( Head shot w/a chain saw, gruesome )
Regardless, Jon's Head Shot was the only one all night and Jeff beat Carols to take the Quickening - Luthor - get blocks.
Thanks Jeff for showing up, Cool Jon for CHAINSAWWING the head of his opponent and thanks to Carlos and Ryan for playing Star Trek afterwards ( yes you read that right another card game )
Thanks all,
Cat
