Confirmed Players:
Van Thomas Joe
Only time will tell which decks they play. Actually I am pretty sure I know what deck Van is playing unless he invests some time into deck building at the store this afternoon.
Will Josh get the ticket to ride this week? Will Dan skip out on intern duties? I know Nick is not skipping out on Hunter's Safety since his mother is going with him... Only time will tell.

The last I knew I have the ticket, but it includes a child's ticket as well. If the last plan holds, I will be there with Maeve (though Mom is going to pick her up part way through). Whether that holds only time can tell.

For some reason during these lines and the reply posts, I hear a pianist playing along with dramatic music like during silent movies. Or maybe someone slipped something in my coffee...

The joke was on you. I had no coffee yesterday!
As for the event, we had reporting in...
Katana using a Katana (Van) Mako using a Rapier (Thomas) Corda and Reno sharing a Short Sword (Josh) Rebecca Horne using a single handed broad sword and a shield (The Zombie)
At the end of Round Robin the record was Mako 2-1 with no head shots Corda and Reno 2-1 with no head shots Rebecca 2-1 with no head shots Katana 0-3 with no head shots
So, in short, we had nothing setting any of us apart from the rest other than every round Josh losing at least one of the two immortals on his team.
In discussing it, I was the only one that didn't care if we played it out single elimination. The other guys didn't care about the single elimination, but cared about how late we would be there. So we decided the roll of a twenty sided would determine our fate. Thomas was just happy that he beat me in an event.
Thomas - 3 Zombie - 5 Josh -14
So Josh's "leet" dice rolling skills gained him the Connor-Ally Quickening, and a target on his neck for next week.

Mako was using the Short Sword, actually.
Mako vs. Rebecca was a bad combination, at least with the strategies both players went for. I didn't have one, of course.
Two watcher decks with Watcher: Healer, a load of dodges and Under the Color of Authority on the table made the game almost come to a complete stop.
So warn me next time you bring Rebecca, because Mako might lose his head because he is falling asleep during the fight. ;D
