So it seems that real life was not our friend last night. We had one person unable to make it, one person with no ride, and a new guy that was only able to come in late due to child care problems.
The event was as follows: Joe (short sword and shield) Thomas (Gen. Katana with short sword and shield) Van (Gen. Katana with no weapons)
The results were in that order. And while there was no Hunter Prone to worry about, there were some nasty combos. Corda and Reno as immortal allies with a way to bring them back from the removed from game section is just one that came to mind.
Additionally we found that some of us we drafting high amounts of attacks, and the others high amounts of blocks. It made for some unbalancing games.
And the stupid game -- Thomas had out two Satellites and I had out three. He had 2 ability with a hand size of 0 and I had 4 ability with a hand size of two. That was a painful end game.
Overall I am not sure how I feel about drafting this set. Maybe a larger draft group next time will help seal my opinion.

Someone who drafts a lot of attacks would ALSO put a lot of attacks in thier constructed deck, the same with defenses. Part of the strategy of Pack Rat is to keep certain cards away from your OPPONENTS.

True. But honestly there was not a whole lot to hate going on there. We were faced with 3 of the 12 boosters being exactly the same. I was fine as I stocked up on enough toolbox cards to keep the attacks and blocks shooting out, but one of the other guys was experiencing some issues with "Aces and Eights."
