We have three local stores that are willing to support Highlander Tournaments. All three of them have different distributors and I am told that none of them carry the new cards because and I quote "The quality sucks".
Three different stores three different distributors, three very similar answers. I sent each of the store owners to this website. They all had the same response each says the store link doesn't work. They said they are willing to give the game a shot, (Mostly because me and my friends won’t shut up about it) they say that if we are willing to run the tournaments. It's hard to get people playing a new game if they can't get the cards.
Please forward me the contact information, so the local stores can start carrying the product and can buy boosters, and starters!
Thank you,

Potomac Distributing carries the cards. Not only that, but if you are a brick and mortar store, they sell for less than the posted price. They require no account setup and they ship UPS ground for free. www.potomacdist.com

Awesome,
I will let the owners know, now is there a way we can contact the company for prize support or do we have to handle that ourselves. That is what we did on the last tournament. Thins next one we where thinking of giving away a sword.

No, No. No,
We where going to buy the sword, we figured with a T-shirt, a Sword, a Quickening and a couple boxes of cards for first place. We would get some people maybe as far as California, or New Mexico. We would liek to see around 30 people if we could. It was that or a cash prize. If we get 30 people to pre reg we could do everything at $5.00 entrance fee. If we did a cash prize it would have to be a fifity drawning. We like the idea of the prizes more.
What do you all think, how far would you drive to a Highlander Tournament?

What do you all think, how far would you drive to a Highlander Tournament? With the price of gas, even here in the midwest, not too far. I am spoiled though, I live in the HOME of Highlander.

What do you all think, how far would you drive to a Highlander Tournament? Currently? I wouldn't walk across the street for a Highlander tournament. Give me a rulebook and truly random collation first. Then, assuming it's not so far along in the game's life cycle that it's impossible for me to catch up to everyone else's purchases and still buy the rapid releases of new product, and I'll happily drive 45 minutes for a fun day of kill-or-be-killed. Make it a purely first edition tournament so I don't have to worry about the 2e wonkiness and I'll drive that now. I might even do it for a mixed tournament, since that gets rid of the rulebook problem.
