Does anyone have any comments about the new object crystals? I assume you can't put one into play if you have the same pre-game crystal already? On the question of whether or not PG crystals should be revised, I vote should but haven't. I have zero proof or knowledge of whether it has been done.

What states the pre-game crystals and in game crystals are the same? There is nothing on the new object crystals that name them like the pre-games so I don't see how there would be a problem with having both in play.
As far as I know you can have all 3 of the new crystals out (all 6 after the expansion) and all 4 of the pre-games without any problems. There is no ruling that states otherwise.

The Object Crystal has a resrtiction # of 1. Can you include 1 of each Gem affecting crystal or just 1 total?

1 of each. You can have six of any card title unless there is a restriction number. In the case there are different cards with the same title, you can include up to the restriction number of each as long as there is no more than 6 total.
For example: You can include 2 of each Risk Management (Attack, Defense, Special) in your deck as long as you don't have more than 6 and no more than 2 of each.
Another Example: You can have 3 of Kastagir's Upper Master's Guard and 3 of his Lower, but not 6 of one.
Hope that helps.

Also remember that Pre-game Crystal cards do count toward your title limit. So you can use 3 Pre-game crystals and 3 different ingame Crystal objects, you can't use all 3 in-game crystals and all 4 pre-game crystals since that would be a total of 7 cards titled Crystal.

Actually pre-game crystal cards will not be counting towards your card limit. That, (like so many other things) will be covered when the rule book is finally completed.

So then, Darius Pregame doesn;t count against Hugh using in-game Darius either?

Correct. Pre Game cards will not count against the 6 card limit. You can play as many pregame darius cards as you want,a nd still have 6 darius cards in your deck. Same with Crystals.

As far as I know, there never was a rule stating you couldnt. I've played aainst decks that had 2 darius in their pregame and 6 darius in their decks in regional championships. But regardless, this will effect both type Two and One.

I remember back when the title on pregame cards DID count toward your 6 total, however, you were also free to have multiples of the same pregame. I wonder if somewhere along the time when more pregames were being added if some of these rules changed. Looking in the rulebooks, I could find no reference to pregames counting towards your limit.

I agree with Prowler on the fact that as far as I know it has always counted towards your 6 total. But, Okay, I'll put it into the Type One forum.

Is it a situation of you may have as many as you want as long as each is unique in effect like the Arms and Tactics or Gathering pregames?

You may only have one of each pre game Darius, correct. You cant use multiples of the same pre game Darius. But they do not stop you from being able to use 6 "in game" Darius in your deck.

They did indeed count toward your title restriction. It went along with the fact that pre-game cards are considered to be in play.
