I guess you don't really see my point.
I will try to be more precise.
1) I didn't say I hate lockdown decks. I said I fear (not hate) one specific Duncan deck, which was very very well built, and hardly beatable.
2) We actualy don't have any rule keeping people from playing The Circle. I just don't play it my self because I think it is too powerfull.
3) Yes I have something against simple mind. Even if I enjoy playing situation, I also play deck that don't rely on them. What ever is the deck I am playing, I concider that a card that ruin so many cards with so little effort is broken.
In addition, Simple mind is the only card in 1ed that cannot be counter (outside ripping cards)
But if we come to play play Simple Mind again, I will adapt my decks. I will not put more than one situation in my decks any more (the one you are allowed to keep when Simple Mind is played). And I will put quite a lot of funny and interesting strategy in the recycle bin, which I consider is a shame.

In the fact of Simple Mind there are many counters to it if you look hard enough. Headswillroll

You know, Simple Mind could be considered a form of lockdown itself. Besides, not all Situation heavy decks are healer or lockdown decks. Up until the last couple weeks, Plot decks could be very Situation heavy and not be healer or lockdown.
I think it is very possible to hate Simple Mind and Lockdown decks. Lord knows, I don't much care for Simple Mind. That having been said, I'm not the world's biggest fan of lockdown decks either. Just my $.02, take it or leave it.

Some strange rules... We take Q's - but you're a social leper if you play with them. We don't usually rip our cards. We(TD) roll a dice and add or subtract up to 6 minutes from the clock. Kronos ability doesn't work in L&M (NOT my rule) Now you have Methos in every Lean & Mean. No first turn kill decks. You must have fun

Up until the last couple weeks, Plot decks could be very Situation heavy and not be healer or lockdown. Simple Mind doesn't affect plots. Wouldn't it be better to just say that Kronos's ability doesn't trigger on the L&M card itself, if playing in an L&M tournament? Does your tournament director play vapor decks in L&M?

I think ummyeah was pretty clearly referring to that with the addition of "Up until the last couple weeks"

Simple Mind -never- affected plots, though.
Simple Mind - While this card is in play neither player may have more than one Situation in play at a time. Your opponent must discard all but 1 Situation he has in play. You must discard all Situations but Simple Mind. This card does not affect Situation: Plots.

Sorry about that - the times I've seen it played were always very light on plots (having never seen plots being actively played in type 1), so I must have completely missed it.
Thanks for the text/reminder.

Kronos ability doesn't work in L&M (NOT my rule) Now you have Methos in every Lean & Mean. What kind of house rule is this? Are the players afraid to face Kronos?

Must be Dallis. Maybe they have run into more problems with Kronos than we have. James actually had a good idea about not letting Kronos' ablilty affect L/M cards. Headswillroll

A good vapor deck should kill Kronos before his power becomes a problem

Personally, I love to play against Kronos, because my opponent always thinks he has it made, but there are ways to drop his jaw and have him shaking his head at what you have done. One of my favorite matches against Kronos was against Dallis at the convention earlier in the year. I played Neferitiri and he only beat me because he ripped a card of mine. After that, I pushed her to the limits and only lost by one or two ability. It was fun, but then I also like confusing my opponents. Headswillroll
