It does want me to make a deck with him using the Methos Masters Q though. Maybe toss in Forged Steel, since I don't care if I stay disarmed.

Of course. Either use Methos Master Q or Darius them in.

So not quite "easier" as originally advertised, but possibly more destructive to your opponent's goals if it works.

You are correct, not easier but do-able.

Actually not hard at all to build once you put your imagination in it. It has already been built and is pretty fast. However our "metagame" here is such that everyone is geared against disarm because it seems that someone is always trying to sneak it in. The problem is that it is a different person each tourney, so everyone is on thier toes. Father Liam Riley works too in the case of no quickenings. Headswillroll

Right, I'm not talking about harder to build, although it is harder to build. The Master Q deck is impossible for anyone who doesn't have the Master Q deck to build. The Darius version is harder to pull off because you need a combo of two cards. Granted, it's not insanely harder in either case, but the increased difficulty is there, when compared to using Recover Weapon or Watcher: Fair Fight. It's also harder to use because you have to work around their disarm protection.
It wouldn't work well in our area either. That silly watcher running around with a bag of holding filled with multiple copies of every weapon type shows up at least once per deck. He can be worked around, but makes breaking and disarming very rare around here. Usually you have to do it at least twice: once to force them to play their Watcher, and again to make it stick. And in between you have to work to remove that watcher from the game (the Q helps here).

The deck that I am referring to doesn't even rearm himself. He just breaks his opponent's weapons and trashes him from there. Nick Wolf has too many good cards that work when he is disarmed to waste the time of rearming himself. I have not even designed a deck with Nick Wolf that has him using a sword, might have to look into that one. Headswillroll

I'm also talking about breaking the weapon, although it's been a few posts since I mentioned Forged Steel.
