Nick Wolf Personna states that "you may begin the game disarmed"
Dose he have to roll a die to regain his weapon? Is it just laying on the ground?
If Nick Wolf begins the game disarmed and disarms his opponent, can his opponent roll to regain his(Nick Wolf's) disarmed weapon?
If Nick Wolf begins the game disarmed and plays Improvised weapon, can he use it to disarm his opponent, then not use it to attack with? Since Improvised weapon says if you are disarmed, you may use this weapon to .... Can his opponent roll to regain the improvised weapon if Nick Wolf is not using it?
In the aboe 2 Questions, What if he breaks his opponents weapon while disarming him?
Thanks for the input.

Nick Wolf follows all the normal rules for being disarmed. He doesn't have to roll a die to rearm, but he can if he wants.
If he breaks their weapon, they can roll to get his. If he disarms them, they roll to regain their own weapon.
An opponent can never roll to take your improvised weapon, whether you're actively using it or not. As long as he follows hand icon restrictions and other rules, Nick can attack and block with whatever he wants alongside having an Improvised Weapon in play.

For Nick, 'disarmed' essentially means 'not using my sword right now'.

Am I missing something that lets him rearm without playing a card or rolling?

So, if he starts out disarmed and he fails to disarm his opponent, can he then say I rearm my self and defend normally?

Only if he plays a card that lets him rearm or succeeds on his die roll.

Nick wolf must go through the normal channels to rearm himself.

In the handbook or the Addendum it states that you are NOT to use reality when dealing with disarm. Basically due to game mechanics. So, in the case of Nick Wolf, if he starts the game disarmed, he for some reason walks up to his opponent, lays his sword down and says "let's fight". Sounds wierd but, that is the way it works. As for the Improvised Weapon/Parry Blade/Ancestral Blade/ and so on are all objects in play that due to game mechanics are still usable whether or not you are disarmed. Hope that helps. Headswillroll

I think of Nick wolf as being able to start with Sheathe Weapon. Unfortunately, there is no Sheathe Weapon card on the table to discard to get your weapon back immediately..

That is definately another way to explain it. I don't know if I would use that on a newer player, but lets face it if they are playing Nick they most likely have an idea what they are doing, I would hope. Headswillroll

The problem is that Amanda is a horrible teacher. She taught him how to sword fight, but never taught him how to drawa blade. Now he's stuck fumbling with his sheathe and rolling dice, or asking a passing Watcher to help out.

It is easier to just take your opponents weapon.

Rearming with Nick is as simple as playing a Recover Weapon.. How is that not easier than taking your opponent's weapon?
Am I forgetting something? The only cards I know of that take your opponent's weapon are Nakano and Connor Master's Disarm.
