Well there are a lot of threads concerning 2ed favorite cards and such. Here is my question. What is the most underated card in 1ed that you think never got its chance in the spot light? Headswillroll

I would have to say either future focus or arms and tactics (remove 5). Headswillroll

Well, James? How about you? I know you didn't think that Duende was that powerful since it wasn't used in you region. There has to be some others. Headswillroll

How about me what? I don't understand the question.
It isn't that Duende isn't played in my region that makes me think it isn't powerful, it's that every deck has at least 2 police, and/or Katana's ability (via persona or Q). Duende is nowhere near as nice when you can't afford to keep it around for more than one round because it will get removed. It's still nice, especially against power blows, master head shots, etc. It just isn't as powerful as it can be because the metagame is coincidentally set up to weaken it.

Ohhh, I see. Now your posts from a few months back some sense. I misunderstood a post that you had made long ago saying that you didn't have to deal with Duende in you area. I assumed that meant that nobody used it due to belief that they thought it wasn't powerful. I can now see the error of my ways, "Never assume because all it does is makean ass out of you and me". I think the 1e Saber can be underestimated. For my Xavier deck there's no other choice. The diagonal gaurds add coverage that no other non-master block can give you, and the discarding of attacks is a good thing when you're looking to cycle.
I'll try to rack my brain and see what else falls out.

I will totally agree with plaglliaco, I had a few nasty ideas used with it but you have noted some even worse than I imagined. Headswillroll

I used Slan's Intimidate, Distraction and Pedestrian: No Attacks. With these three cards, I made a deck that prohibited my opponent from playing any attacks. When Slan proved to be too vulnerable to situations, I Dariused his Intimidates into a Katana deck and cleaned house.
The "special" Generic Immortal Personas were also fun to play with at times.

Understandable, the only weakness to the attack resticting decks is Discipline. Which is what makes it underated and unexpected expecially when all assume Slan will have Renee close by. Cool, thanks for the input. Headswillroll

I would have to say either future focus or arms and tactics (remove 5). Headswillroll I was surprised by a lot of people stating that they would rather have break glass in a deck instead of remove 5. However I believe the remove 5 helped Jeff Timi out quite a bit at the Die Con L/M tourney. Headswillroll

Remove 5 helped out zodo who played Nef against my Kronos deck. He removed his desperations I guess he did not like the idea of me discarding 3 cards.
