So I've been able to make good 1e decks that I am happy with for a bunch of personas, methos, annie, connor, hugh, fasil, kurgan, cassandra, kronos, nef...but I cannot for the life of me come up with a Duncan deck I am happy with.
Anyone have any competitive 1e duncan deck lists? I usually prefer smaller, tighter decks to bigger ones. Thanks.

I don't have a list handy, but there's always the Duncan Machine: leg sweeps, flashing blades, and jumps to make Unblockable and Undodgeable head shots. Kurgan Q optional, but very helpful.
He also does well with SEDarius, using Prime Block, One Year of Love, and Inner Strength to get free power blows.
Challenge + Focused Strike is also a mean combo.
If you've got a Slan Q, Ped Hidden + Honor Bound + Nakano No Special = Hidden Q (or Darius the card that does it) is nice.

Speaking of Ft Worth (sorry to threadjack...) are you planning on running sanctioned tourneys when prize support comes around James?

And he's going to post about them well in advance so I can try to attend. ( I'm curious, though, why someone might ask where James is from, since it's clearly posted right in his user information near his post count...)

Hi,
My name is Christophe (Paris, France) A little far from you guys : )
However, my wife is from dallas TX and if I'd new sooner that a core of player was remaining there, I would have come to visit!
For Duncan, a friend plays him all the time and have powerfull decks. (but we don't play either promotional or Q's as we agreed it's a little cheesy) : )
So here is my friend deck (which is not a lean&mean)
- Moutain cave - Pedestrian (only hidden attacks) - Power blows (by any way you like -0 exert via rememberance outstanding att- or event cards power blows, HS...)
The strategy:
Once the pedestrian + Mountain cave are in play, you make hidden power blows every turn.
Because your opponent cannot play a hidden attack (you made a power blow cf Duncan Persona) and cannot either play a none hidden attack (pedestrian) you can actually keep him from attacking you during almost all the game (if you built your deck right)
Hope you will enjoy that deck! I let you deal with the details.
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE

Here's one of my favorite 1e Duncan decks. Duncan persona Duncan +1 Darius +1 Restriction 1 Nexus 3 Dead end alleys 1 Police 2 head shots 2 Alertness Block/dodge (super alertness) 6 Focus (ME) 2 Feint (ME) 3 Honor bound (movie edition, dariused in) 2 MB Duncan 2 MHS Duncan 2 MD Duncan 2 Jump 2 Duck 1 Trip 2 Feint Duncan Collection 2 Prime Block Duncan Collection 1 Killer Precision 2 Slashes Duncan 12 Attacks (3 extra upper right spinning attacks) 8 Blocks (2 extra upper centers) Get Honor bound out. Use focus to play specials drop a PB with spinning attacks, prime blocks, wait til there hands are cluttered with specials and do the ole head choppy thing. Fun easy and your opponent may even turn a shade or two of green.
