As long as we are posing unanswered questions about first edition rules...
Divine Intervention has the following text: You may only play this card if your opponent has a Pre-Game card in play that can be removed from the game. That card is removed from the game. This card is removed from the game.
Now here is the tricky bit. Nowhere in the rules, nor on any card text, does it say that Personas can not be removed from the game. Therefore, can DI be used to remove someone's persona?

You are right, it does not say you can't remove a persona, however it does say for persona premiums that they are an "extension" of your persona and therefor can not be removed, which - and here's the sticky wicket and again,I am sure this will spark the never ending debate over... Someone "official" saying or doing something - if the extension of your persona may not be removed, that clearly implies your persona cannot be removed. But you are absolutely correct, I read through my rulebooks just now,and no mention I checked the Handbook, nothing i Found.Haven't yet gone through the addendum, but...

Nah it's not in the addendum.
Common sense dictates that you shouldn't be able to remove a persona like that, however, rules lawyers don't argue about what makes sense.
The way it could be read is that WoCs, and MCBCs are extensions of personas, AND cannot be removed from the game. They can't be removed because of that text, not because they are parts of personas.
Obviously, it should be stated somewhere that personas should not be removable as implied, but until it explicitly says so, people will be able to argue that they can be removed.
What this game needs is an active rules guru who answers questions in a timely manner.

Steve Crow, Yahoo group. I don't know if he comes here or not, but if you've got a 1e rules question, the yahoo group is probably the best place for it.

That's been what I have done for a few years now.
The primary guru has been Steve Crow, though. He is -the- rules lawyer.
Zodo and I have had this discussion before. I checked -all- of the old erratas and FAQS (which were later replaced by the handbook and Addendum) and found nothing to answer it. The only thing is the previously mentioned Pre-game rules where you can;t remove cards that are extensions of your persona. This would -imply- that personas cannot be removed. However, I agree with zodo that rules should never be implied.
You'll notice that in the Rulebook thread under the RUles forum of 2E, I brought up this same point and suggested that it should be added to the rulebook.
