The 2e edge card foiled works on plots. If used in Type 1 format, would it affect Situation-Plots?

It should.

I thought it should. I thought I read in an earlier thread that when converting 2e to Type 1 plots basically became Situation-Plots and was affected by Focus. I may be off my rocker about this or I may have mis-interpeted it, or I may have mis-heard it from someone. I am not for sure.

You are correct. At this time the Plots from 2ed that are not bugged are considered Situation-Plots in the Type one format. Headswillroll

The only change we did in 1st ed rules, is we moved Situation: Plots to be just Plots. So a Focus would not work on a Plot, you would need a Foiled to ignore it.
As a Clarification, Foiled will not work on plots that are discarded due to being completed.

Is underworld contact the only way to avoid or neutralize a completed plot?
Since Methos Secret Identy allows him to ignore the effects of events played by his opponent, If I play and complete , for instance, the 3 card plot Unholy Alliance; Will Methos' Secret Identity ignore the effects of the Event-Plot card used to complete the plot?

Yes, Methos is safe. The card having the effect is still an event, it just has a subtype of plot.

With that in mind we will start to impliment this in the TYPE ONE tourneys. Headswillroll

On a side note of curiosity for the TYPE ONE format, will the text of General Katana's ability change to " Instead of playing a special card on your turn, you may make an exrtion to remove a situation or plot from play"? Headswillroll

SITUATION: PLOTS AND EVENT: PLOTS are just PLOTS now, they will cannot be countered by Secret Identity.
