I had fun, playing an idea I had been wanting to do, and played General Katana for the first time. I did not win but am satisfied with he results of my endeavor to build a few fun decks. Headswillroll

Hey, Dallis only a couple of thoughts/comments. 1. Could you identify personas with the people? Especially when playing or identifying rounds, please. It's a little hard to track Joe/Jack/John/Jim/Jerry etc especially since I really can't put a face to any of you guys. Jim C (Methos) vs Jerry (Katana)-works better (I think). 2. I also noticed a couple of people play the same persona on a regular basis. I usually played the big or popular 4. 3. I'm not a fan of MLE (sorry guys-except aesthetically). I noticed no MLE, people here have a tendency to accept it. Since they don't have to buy cards- they download them. "Who are you playing"? Consone "Who are you playing"? Brian Cullen Anyway.... 4. What about SAEC cards? I think they are legal except trap cards? NE 1? Thanks for the posts.

What about SAEC cards? I think they are legal except trap cards? NE 1? 2. There are a couple of us who almost ALWAYS play different immortals. However, some people dont have large collections of cards, so are focusing on just a few decks. And one or two others just ALWAYS play the same persona, no matter what. 3. MLE isnt allowed in Type One format, so we dont allow it either. 4. We DO allow Raven cards (except Time and Trap), and a couple of us put Raven cards in our decks when appropriate. note - concerning MLE : we, as a group, decided very early on that MLE would NOT be allowed. We have several reasons for this - A. Not everybody has a computer and/or printer, therefore not everyone has access to the cards B. Due to the LARGE amount of MLE cards and the relative ease at FAKING an MLE card, we decided the prospect of cheating was too high. None of us are familiar enough with MLE to memorize the general text of all those cards to prevent foul play Our reasons for not using MLE have very little to do with the quality of the product (although a couple of us have issues with some of the cards) and more to do with the difficulty in POLICING the use of the cards.

Yeah, I think most players have made their own cards at some point. It's pretty cool to see fan cards... One of the players here didn't like the MLE pics so he changed some of the pics... I was like d**n. What's 'legal' man? I made some cards(different pics) for the 1st ed. 4H card. The 4H on horseback riding over the berm. but I don't play it...

I made one for Amanda "Seduce" using her centerfold picture from Playboy. It was a MUCH better pic than the one on the actual card.

From the start of this game back with series one until now there has been no one to take my head in official tournament until now. That person was Scott Reynolds yesterday. It was a little funny because I really didn't feel that bad about it, until later that evening when I realized the mistake I had made but oh well. Now that I don't have to worry about that anymore I can have some fun. Congradulations to Scott once again on accomplishing something no one else can claim. Headswillroll
