Just a little west of KC. Tim and I have actually played in a tournament together many years ago at the now defunct Comic Market.

Thats awesome...I will be getting together with Brent and Gregg when the new sets come out to do some tournaments in some stores. We are also getting a hold of Jerry Paul to boot.

I've been working on a couple of shop here, trying to get them to carry the cards. Astrokitty and Hometown both seem interested. Neither is very likey to have any until after the new year because of where their money is right now (invested in the product on their shelves--tis the season). Any additional interest shown by some one else might help further the cause.

We have a few cases, we can just show up and split the cost with them, they would not need to put any money down.

Wow, a voice in the wilderness.
I've been known to play at all three (Hometown, Goblin and Astrokitty) depending on how the mood strikes. Mostly, I play at home with a friend or two from the KC area.
I am completely buried with work (which may go on for a while). That, coupled with trying to get a handle on the new Magic environment, has slowed my Highlander experience somewhat. I have tons of 1E (maybe 30-40 decks) so I'd be up for that. But it's been YEARS since I've played so my grasp of the rules may be rusty.
I may have some free time in three or four weeks.

I know this is a massive bump of the post, but does anyone from Lawrence still play? I used to play 1e online, and didn't even know they came out with a 2nd Ed. until yesterday! Would like the chance to try it out or find some people to play against... I'm in south KC.
