Hey all, I've got a group here looking to find some players for new and old editions.

Unfortunately, I'm about three hours or so from Fort Worth, but if you all had any sort of relatively large tournament going on I'd like to hear about it in advance at least.
I'm holding off on buying any Beta cards as I don't really want to pay to playtest a game, but I'd be up for any 1E TCG type games, with or without SAEC or MLE.

I'll be sure to post any tournaments we have here.
If you happen to have any there, let us know and we'll see if we can come over for them.

Sure enough, although I'm the only Immortal around that I know of...

Create more. Run around killing the other CCG players and see if they rise as Highlander players. Or you could just run some demos.

Looks like I'll soon be joined by the guy who taught me the game... but his family will be three hours from here and he'll travel most weekends to be with them. Still, I should be able to play Highlander at least once every week or two once he gets here.
And I'll try to talk to him about heading to any tournaments you all have.

I'm waiting for reliable prize support before I start demos and tournaments.

I'm waiting for reliable prize support before I start demos and tournaments. Please send me your name and address were you want some prize support sent. For the winner of the Quickening, after the match post the results to our boards and send me their name and address in a PM. Eventually we will have an automated system for this...but until then, lets do it 1950's style.

Hey James, I live in Frisco but quit playing when most of my cards got stolen a while back. Pondering getting back into it with the reboot of 2e. How many players do y'all have and where in Ft Worth do y'all play?

Right now there's 4 of us that play regularly and another that lives close enough to join. I'm still waiting for prize support to have tourneys. right now we play sometimes after our weekly RPG game.

Cool, if I end up getting any 2e cards I'll have to swing down there when y'all get prize support.

Again, you might get me to trek up there if you have a regular tournament. If it's 1E, I might have another player in tow.
