Well, I watched the movie on Sunday afternoon, and should have kept count as to how many times I was ready to shut it off. However, I stomached through it and can definitely say beyond a shadow of doubt that the script writer should have been beheaded. I don't ever want to hear anything bad about Highlander Two again. This movie was a travesty, especially for getting so many of the old actors back in the same show. The original fight scene was the best part of the movie even with the retarded super speed of the Guardian in the tower. Also the tower quickening was very well done in my opinion, thanks to modern technologies. I was sadly disappointed with the Guardian and his whole premise, especially when he talked. This one definitely bumped Movie Two out of the way for the worst film so far. There are obviously good ideas for a set of cards though, lots of different immortals, and lots of different weaponry. I am going to stop now so I won't lose my dinner thinking to much on this movie. For those that are interested, Adrian Paul is in a Sci-Fi channel movie this Saturday at 8:00. Sorry, I don't remember the name, but just saw the commercial earlier tonight. Headswillroll

The official vote from our house since everyone watched it was eight thumbs down. You know it is pretty bad when a nine year old and a seven year old ask where the movie is heading, followed up by can we change the channel. Headswillroll

just waiting for it to come out with the alternative ending Check out YouTube to see the alternate ending where Duncan pulls a "Peter Pan" and flies into the Source. There was also supposed to be a coda to the film, showing Duncan & Anna with their son in the Highlands...the boy's name? Connor, of course. But, that was never filmed because they ran out of money.

Thank God, The Source was the biggest "Money Sink" since Waterworld... except, The Source was worse...by far.
WHAT WERE THEY THINKING???
In what "cracked out" universe would that movie make sense, much less, entertain people? I think Adrian Paul is singlehandedly, trying to kill one of the greatest franchises of all time... but that is just my opinion.

In what "cracked out" universe would that movie make sense, much less, entertain people? The same world where Highlander 2 (original version) was greenlit by a movie studio, and Panzer/Davis actually thought people would accept immortals being displaced aliens from the planet Zeist.

I have not been a fan of Adrian Paul since the whole I want to off Stan thing. In my opinion, the best ending to the Source would have been if Methos would have just pulled a gun and shot them all and took there heads, then looked out at the audience and smiled, and said "So much for the McCloud saga", and walked away. ;D Headswillroll
