I remember seeing an old game back in the mid-90's about immortals... it was a total Highlander ripoff, but the game looked interesting... does anybody know what it was called? Or where a copy could be found?

Some forum software allows or even requires the quotes on links. vBulletin is one of those. Unfortunately there's no industry standard defined for these things, or at least if there is it isn't followed very well.

There was talk at Thunder Castle WAY BACK WHEN about a Highlander RPG. I think there was even a small amount of work done on it. All of this is from my fading memory of a long time ago. I could be making this up from snippets of conversations I've have with one of the former employees.

IIRC, Legacy: War of Ages started out as a Highlander RPG, but the owners were served papers for copyright issues and had to rewrite it to its current form.

There was also a fan-made supplement for WoD, Highlander: The Quickening. It was pretty fun and integrated into a vampire game pretty well.
It was completely UnOfficial, of course.

Thanks "MCROW"... you solved a question that has been bugging me for years now... Hopefully I can find a copy now.
Yeah, I knew the North Central regional director back in the day and he did mention to me that the "eggs" in 1st Ed were for a roleplaying game. Ingenius cross-marketing strategy if you ask me... he even had a copy of the test rules... but he never showed them to anybody. Probably for legal reasons.
I am currently running a tabletop game using the Savage Worlds system... it works very well. But oh how I yearn to have an official RPG.

Heya! Sam! Why havent you come out to A-Z for the tourneys, buddy? A lot of the old gang is there. Well, my free time is pretty sparse between work, school and ..uh.. World of Warcraft. And I just bought a new car so I need to go sell a kidney or three to cover the taxes and get it licensed.

There are plenty of young fresh kidneys that could probably be "acquired" over at A-Z over a game of WoW. ;D Well, here is to hoping we see you at some point soon. If you didnt see it, Aprils tourney is dedicated to fallen player Gene Taylor.
