Since we now have a minimum and maximum deck size announced. I was wondering if this will cramp anyone's style from the old days? Personally I always favoured decks that were 50-55 cards. I found I could make efficient decks with every persona in this range. We can still make Lean & Mean but does anyone feel limited by not being able to make true tower decks decks (100+ cards) anymore?

I heard about a Tower Deck winning the Aussie that was huge. In the states I've seen tower decks come in and get smacked to hard to locked real fast, then murdered or cheesed to death. I have still yet to figure out how a 100+ deck could be that overly good in a tournament aspect.

My competitive decks were usually under 60 cards. Fun decks could be whatever size they needed to cram in all the cards that struck my fancy while making them.

Yeah, I dont think he ever won a tourney did he? At least not with a tower deck. When I really started making competitive decks, I found sizes from 44-55 cards were ideal, with 60 being that threshold of "I may not get that card I really need".

Actually my ultimate Methos Deck was 73 cards and I hated playing with that many cards. But...that deck was the ultimate deck out their...made Brent cry everytime he lost to it too.

Now Methos can get away with a slightly bigger deck. His cycling ability makes him SO versatile. When Methos sees reprinting, I hope he keeps his ability but gets his other cards toned down a bit.
