Heya!
This may be premature, but I figured what the heck, I will see if we can get answers.
In regards to standard Highlander tourneys (non sealed deck), can we use 1st ed cards? And if so, what cards CANT we use? And if you cant answer this right now, are we gonna get answers soon?

There will be two formats for tournaments. Type I (name swiped from Magic) will allow both old and new cards. It's been said that the old cards will be FAQed to update them to the new rules, one of the bigger parts of which is giving them eggs.
The other format (name unknown, but Standard sounds good) would be new cards only.
Where Raven cards fall in as old or new is unknown, although the Amanda persona for instance cannot work under new rules (she modifies die rolls).

Yay! I've been wanting an answer to that question...
Especially so as I bought 10+ booster boxes of 1st ed in the last 2 months!

Heya!
That is great news! You know, I thought the later 1ed cards HAD the eggs at the bottom, so maybe there wont be that many cards affected by the FAQ. Also, I bet that personas and WoC reprinted in 2ed will disallow thier 1ed counterparts. Otherwise, some cards for Duncan and Amanda for instance would be really out of whack (all the old dodge cards for instance).

A&T and Four Horsemen had the eggs, but some had multiple eggs and I believe the limit is to be one per card in 2e.

There have also been a statement or statements saying or implying that Type I would not use Eggs and that cards requiring soft exertions wouldn't function under Type I rules.
It's probably safest to say that nothing is definite yet.

I must have missed that one. It definitely seems the easiest route to take though, since egging all the old cards will result in a huge erratta file.
