Virtual Highlander 1ed tournament
There has been a lot of chat in the dead ccgs pages on Facebook reminiscing about Highlander and how much they enjoyed playing.
So I thought ...me too ...how about playing a virtual highlander tournament?!. I have put all of the cards from 1ed on tabletop simulator so it seems to me that this would be the ideal platform in which to play.

The mod is totally free if you have access to tabletop simulator. (if you don’t have tabletop simulator the cost is about $20.00 and gives you access to thousands of mods of which highlander is one)
I have put together a demo on you tube so you can see what it is like.

So what about rules. Well I was thinking we are going old school

with handbook

And addendum

Take note of all errata etc.
Tourney rules.
It will be a double elimination tourney just like they were back in the day.
Standard deck building rules apply eg min 50 card deck etc. But
You are allowed only 1 Quickening in your pregame.
If you lose your head your opponent will take your Quickening and add it to their pregame at no extra cost. In other words all of your won Quickenings do not take a pre game slot.
If you lose your head you are not eliminated but drop to the losers bracket however any Quickenings you had are now lost. If your Q allowed you to add cards to your deck that you normally wouldn’t be allowed to use eg (Methos’ master card Q, Xavier double plots Q etc.) you will have to remove those cards from your deck and replace them with “lean and means”. This is the only change to your deck that is allowed during the tournament
Each round will last about a week to ensure that matches can be played to accommodate work schedules, time differences etc.
So if you are interested let me know in the comments below and we will see
what interest there is.
