While in Rome, if your opponent gains an additional attack, can play any additional Special Cards and / or make any additional Hard Exertions, you may also do those things during your turn.

So let's say...

Player A gains one attack slot to make a total of Two, let's say by a good ol' Extra Shot

since Player A can make two attacks

when it comes to Player B's turn

Player B can make Two also

And since Player B can make Two,

when it goes back to Player A's turn,

Player A can make Two (though this time, not because of Extra Shot but because of carry over from Rome)

and back to Player B,

on and on.

Now, if either player played another effect that gained an attack slot, the number per turn would increase for both players as well.

And this would apply to Special Cards as well.

And hard Exertions.

And, wanted to specify, gaining an attack slot does not necessitate actual use of that slot.

This is kinda fun - i think.
