Asking for clarity ...
From Type2 Rulebook page 11
Being “Considered Disarmed” or “Considered Weapon Broken” is an effect that IS a Restriction Effect due to game mechanics.
Alertness (Block and Ignore) (4H-027) EVENT
Text: Play in conjunction with a block. That block can defend attacks that cannot be blocked. You may ignore any effect in play by your opponent which would prevent or restrict you from playing that block. You may ignore any effect in play by your opponent which would prevent that block from defending multiple attacks. You may ignore any cost required to play that block.
Bait and Switch (HSFV-067) EDGE Text:
If your opponent has a card in play that prevents you from playing a defense from your hand, you may now play defenses normally this turn.
Would a block be playable with either of these cards?
THanks.
***AND MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ONE AND ALL!!!***

That Alertness works, but not the Bait & Switch since it isnt restricting you from playing it from your Hand.

another question about Considered Disarm ... can you attack if you play: Agression Text Play during you May Do / Must Do Phase. You may nullify any effects in play by your opponent which prevent you from playing an attack, or restrict you from playing attacks.
