Hi. If a standing Defense is nullified, is it still a standing defense? Can still be removed by Trip.?

It depends on what is doing the nullification. Card text is needed to make an accurate call

My question I guess is if Standing Defense is a sub-type.
Some card have Standing Defense:... Blah blah blah.
Some will just say "This is a standing defense." If they are all sub types, then I think you can trip it if it's nullified.
If they are not all considered sub-type, then they may be able to be kept in play.
Dark Duncan's trip is remove all standing defenses. So, if he had one in play, he may want to nullify the standing defense to keep it in play.
But this can effect an active attack too. And so can create an "optional" circumstance for opponent. Where you can't remove and nullify. Etc...

If a card says it is a Standing Defense, then any effect which affects Standing Defenses will affect that card. If the card is nullified then it would be safe from that effect
