Wnen playing a location it gets rid of the previous location, ie. bumps it (there's also that guy with the illusion/situation disguises or something that also bumps). Is playing a new location removing the other location from play? This comes up in a few instances like Marcus Centurion and Death's ability. This was the last mention I could find. If your opponent has a Centurion protecting his Location, you have to find a way to play YOUR location. There are cards which allow multiple locations to be in play at the same time, so the use of one of those is an option. Also, if you "Always The Last Place You Look" the Centurion, then it is no longer protecting that Location that turn and it can now be bumped when you play YOUR Location. The Protected Resources question is under review right now due to the circumstances you are inquiring about. The Design Team is meeting this sunday, we will most likely be discussing it then.

I’m surprised this hasn’t come up before.
Playing a Location to remove another location from play IS “removing it from play”.
Just to be clear, a Removal effect is where it’s Removed from the Game. So be sure the card effect you are using states the correct effect
