No need for errata. The Shield says "Your first attack cannot be played to areas you blocked this turn, regardless of antpy other effects." In the rules under Defenses That Become Your First Attack - If you play a defense that states that if it is successful, it becomes your first attack, it does not fill your Attack Opportunity slot. You still have your normally allotted Attack Opportunities, this card only becomes the first attack in a possible sequence of attacks. The Shield Bash is played as a block and then becomes an attack. You did not play an attack to an area you blocked, instead a card in play became an attack.

But shield bash is special attack. Not a block? And doesnt say anything about it blocking? Or there is missing text in watcherdatabase? No need for errata. The Shield says "Your first attack cannot be played to areas you blocked this turn, regardless of antpy other effects." Sorry, I was thinking about Block and Strike for the Short Sword (I need to remember not to drink and post ). The Shield Bash is just a special attack like any other special attack. As long as you're using the Shield you can include it and use it. What specifically are you asking about it?

No, because Shield Bash is a powerful attack so the restriction is justified. To play it you have to have the right circumstances
