Hunter: 2 Event Discard Block and Dodge or one damage 2 Event Take 2 Damage 2 Event Headshot
50 Cards
Strategy: So this is a version of my Kalas Head Shot deck. I went with a broad bladed spear for the back always so I can always attack. The idea is to get Insurance out, hit them with a direct damage card and then remove his defenses. Nino insures I have what ever I need and if facing a draw deck Song of the Executioner puts a stop to it. Also if they do some how avoid the head shots their is enough direct damage in one go through of the deck to outright kill them. As of right now this has a 100% win rate and prior iterations I won most games with this.
So would folks like to discuss?

Nobody but Jim Black runs enough “Really?” in their regular toolbox to stop this deck. It’s a great “take it out and show it off every so often” deck because people aren’t normally prepared for it

To prepare for it you need to keep insurance off the board and you need to heal or prevent all special cards from enter play. The dual kill of either direct damage or head shot is hard to get around. Especial since the Masters block and Masters attack make it a unblockable/ cant play a dodge from your hand. Also back away limits the dodges more. Holy ground and damage prevention which is a common defense is a poor choice because of Stalk allowing a unblockable undodgeable head shot in response.

clique84I usually run at least 9 "Really's" to prevent direct damage. Prior to me quitting the game a couple months back and dumping my stuff, I was only caught once using more than 3. d**n, Geoff C.!! I'm good like that though.

Let's see. The last time I ran Really? in a deck Lex had a pre game hunter and I didn't see any Hunter cards flopping other than a Prone. So I held onto my one and only copy till almost the end. I think I was around 6 ability and Lex at 2 when he threw that dreaded Hunter sniper. The look on his face is why I've played this game 20 years.
