I dont normally do product plugs or reviews, but I had to say something about this.
Have any of you guys tried the UltraPro Eclipse Sleeves?
I got some and built my deck this morning for todays tournament and cracked open the brand new pack of white sleeves. My deck is Type One, so its a combination of 1st/2nd/3rd edition cards. So some are white border, some are black border and they were all made at different times over a 20 year period (slight size differences). I was pleasantly surprised at how well ALL of the cards fit into the sleeves. I have had some other sleeves where you had to really force the cards in and then you cant get them out. These slid in smoothly. And the backs of the sleeve dont show through to the card underneath. Finally, I went to shuffle them and was further surprised by how smoothly they shuffled, without catching the edges of the sleeves on one another.
Sorry, but this was a nice surprise this morning.

I love white sleeves, but they don't cover the card backs. Good to hear on these. I've also had really good luck with the matte back sleeves. They shuffle really well and don't seem to wear out as bad.

zogfhyr The Pro Matte black sleeves are good sleeves and it is what I had always used until now. UP's Eclipse are pretty d*mn good...we don't have black in the Eclipse yet because it was the lighter colors that people like except you could always see through the back. Now, you can't, at all, and they are thinner and stronger. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XWIBDVkGUY
