Cierdwyn has always been a favorite of mine. I like multiple attack decks, and she is a fun way of building one

So I have a bunch of Cierdwyn cards, but how do you make her work. I looked at her, and couldn't figure out what WoC she prefered.

In 1ed you can go with Rapier/Parrying Blade so that you get a head start on attacks right out of the gate. If you build her right, every turn you can get out an Ally and add 1 more attack to the chain. THEN, when you feel the time is right - Darius/Fast Talk/Flashing Blade

Interesting. I hadn't considered that.
I'm really liking my Kalas/Claymore power attack deck. Using lots of overextended attacks to just try and put the damage on.

What do you mean by "ugly"?

In this case , he does things to his opponent that aren't pretty to watch.
Do damage, then hand pick which cards your opponent loses, making it easier to do more damage, etc etc

Toss in a Grayson Q and do ugly things to his Discard pile also. Hunter damage, Kurt, Rush, Street Thug (or Punk?), Angry Mob. Just beware of Really??.

Played a bunch of games last night with a Kanis deck (using the pregame darius to allow for a 3rd hound), and a new broad spear Anne deck (which btw, when you can throw down 3 slashes a turn, with some of her edge cards, it's kinda ridiculous).

This may seem like a silly question, but I want to make sure there is no misunderstanding.
When you say you used the Darius for a third hound, what exactly did you mean? How many hound cards did you have altogether?

All the hounds are R2, and since all the card names are Hound with the subtitle Kanis, I can only put two in my deck, right?
But I got a pregame version of Darius that allows me to increase the restriction on 1 card by 1, so I have 3 cards titled Hound in my deck.

Cards with the same title, but are different cards (due to grid assignment or sub-title text, or card text) are different cards. You can have 2 copies of each of the three hound cards (since their sub-title is different and card text is substantially different). This is in the Rulebook, but easily overlooked amoung all the other stuff. This works the same way for cards like Slash. Some have a restriction number, that only applies to that copy of the card. For instance, Connor has 2 different vertical Slash cards, each restricted to 2 (if I remember right). You can have 2 of each in your deck.

So the Claymore special attack (I think it's actually a Slash) that has a 2 in the upper corner, I can have 4 of, because since they cover different grids, they're different?
That makes sense, but it is exceptionally confusing. Alright, slowly getting the hang of it.

Or, with that Darius, a 3rd copy of one of them for s total of 5

In all of this, remember you can only have 6 of any card title. So no matter how you mix and match, they can't total more than 6
Speaking of mix and match, make sure you read the errata for type one if you mix 1ed and 2ed cards, because the 1ed Dodge cards have the title errata'd to work with 2ed.
