Wait, wait, wait! I just reread Talia Masters Cut - so she can play it from her discard? It doesn't specify hand - please say yes because I was extremely underwhelmed by her cards. Otherwise... She instantly comes out and I feel like she needs about 10 attack/defense cards to be playable. She was one of my favorite immortals. She had skills (actual sword fighting skills).

No, a card has to state specifically that its effects can be triggered from the Discard Pile. Between her Persona Specific attack (Inciting Strike) and the attacks she can place on top of her Endurance, she is keeping her opponent Exerting every turn. Plus, we have not put out any OTHER cards for the Epee or her (Legacy) yet.

Mmmmm, maybe I'm just missing it. I don't see my opponent having to exert to defend against her attacks. Even if she can put attacks on top of her endurance - with her hilt its (currently) OPT. I can have the Master cut put on top of my endurance (to play as from an exertion)but the downside from the epee isn't worth it IMO(or her hilt). It just appears Katherine, Bartholomew, and Damon Case(et al.) have better tactical cards. I'm biased - I think she had great skills which aren't reflected in the cards.
I'm open to strategies and any deck construction ideas. Thanks

You arent making your opponent Exert to defend, but Exert to attack.
Using her Angry Mob, your opponent now has to Exert for attacks. She is built around either ignoring the Angry Mob (Inciting Strike) or putting her attacks on top of her Endurance so she only needs to Exert 1 card to attack. She is playing a game of attrition with her opponent.
Now, throw in another couple Situations and your opponent is going to run out of toolbox and will be at your mercy. Since the Epee is a 1 handed weapon, use an off-hand weapon like the Kanzashi (since she has no attack downside to her dodge) to get unblockable/undodgable attacks, and now you are really mixing things up.
