Each immortal has a hilt card that goes with a specific weapon of choice. They add some type of upside to the weapon. Prize hilts are weapon specific but not immortal specific.

Hi billj, what are hilts? could not find any at that store site so thought i'd ask. Thanks. PS- i dont mean to hijack thread, mods please move if necessary. There are several types of Hilt cards. All are ingame Object cards. Some hilts require you to be using a specific Weapon of Choice, others are generic. In 2e, most Immortals have a Persona Specific Hilt tailored to fit the weapon and theme they used in their movie or episode. A few immortals have a couple hilts because they used more than 1 Weapon. Championship Hilts are generic hilts we give away for Regional and World Championships. These are just the like other hilts, but are generic instead of Persona Specific and are usually assigned to a Specific Weapon of Choice. Usually these hilts are very powerful, and are often one of a kind.

Really no need for generic Immortals in Type 2. Wasn't the addition of GI in Type 1 to avoid Nemesis hosing? No Nemesis cards in T2, so no real need to have a character that has no abilities.
Just my 2 cents, and they made at least 2 of the Type 1 GI's into T2 characters.

There is need if people want them. We have own house rules for them. If you are playing with your own group there's no need to be official.
