Short version: Are the attributes of an attack determined when they are played or when they are to be defended against?
Long specific version: Grayson's Stalk benefits if his opponent has an Ally in play. Since there are events and edges that are allies they would be 'in play' if the turn after my opponent played them I played my Stalk. Does that make it unblockable and undodgeable? Or since he sweeps the allies at the top of his turn is my Stalk back to being merely undodgeable?

It constantly checks. If they have an ally in play when you first attack it'll be unblockable. If they sweep or police that ally before defending, it will no longer be unblockable.

Actually asked Brent on this one his determination was that if an attack was unblockable to begin with then it would remain even if the opponent had swept the Immortal Ally.

Definitely needs a rules addendum though, as it says nothing about being set when played.

Stalk reads: This attack cannot be dodged. If your opponent has an Immortal Ally in play, this attack cannot be blocked. This attack may be made a Head Shot.
Your opponent will need an Immortal Ally in play during your turn to make the attack unblockable.
This is different then Xavier playing a Plot (Poison Gas), then removing said plot and playing a new one (Poison Gas), in that the card he removed never got to your turn and will not effect you.

So would a more accurate wording be: This attack cannot be dodged. When you play this card; if your opponent has an Immortal Ally in play, this attack cannot be blocked. This attack may be made a Head Shot.

Will there be a rulebook entry to cover this sort of thing?
