I have to ask - Kern vs. Cierdwyn :
Did either have Flashing Blade in their deck? You said Kern died due to Exhaustion, wasnt Cierdwyn able to land any hits on him?

I was playing Kern and had flashing blades but a few duff exertions (8 cards and pulling 2 adjacent attacks) isn't good for him. My mate plays hyper defensive meaning even when I did get a good combo he could deal with it. I managed to stay on top of ceirdwyns allies that combined with my friends more cautious nature meant she never really threw up much of an offence ( I think I got hit once). Our biggest problem seems to be getting the headshot, which I think is more about timing. ( coupled with the fact that as soon as its clear he's going to lose my mate will suicide to disrupt the timing) Currently messing about with ways to ensure the kill but so far it's all a bit to reliant on luck.

Hey guys, two more games last night.
First up Luther vs Xavier. This was a brutal one sided match with xavier bringing his army of cheese against the master of pain. Poor Luther didn't know what to do as he was assailed by punks alliances cat and mouse plots before the grand finale : hidden explosives with careful planning for 7 damage ( with a forethought to cancel the holy ground). The one armed lord of the Brie failed to capitalise and his attempted headshot was handily blocked before Luther ran to Wyoming. This was a wicked quick match for us xavier didn't even get through his deck.
Second game was Kanis vs Nefetiri and her gladius. This was a hard game Nef almost lost her head early to a headshot with no defence in hand but luckily found a dodge in the exertion. The dogs caused problems but judicious use of police and simple mind kept the interference to a minimum. In the end a series of attacks (masters thrusts hidden stabs etc) and temptress combined with an exhaustion brought the dog lover to his knees. Sensing the end was near Kanis threw a last ditch upper right powerblow which Nef deflected then riposted headshot Kanis tried to raise his sword but misjudged the angle (exerted but only got a left guard) and with the crack of thunder his head hit the deck. Victory for Nefetiri by headshot!
It will be a while till next fights as holidays and life interfere.
