Well, Prowler and I have finally finished the Rulebook, and think it is pretty good, looks great, and we made our personal deadline of the end of the year. Thorr will be receiving the documents this afternoon/evening, and will then get the documents and the links on the forums as soon as he is able (sorry, I don't know his schedule).
As for how this Rulebook will work, there are a few things to keep in mind. This is the 2009 Version, which means that we will address issues as are needed and make addendums/updates/etc.. but will only combine them into the main document at the beginning of each year. Please read the entire document from top to bottom before commenting or asking questions. We ask this due to the fact that your question might be answered in a more relevant section of the rulebook, and it will save us all time. As a forewarning, just as in the Type One Rulebook, we DO NOT make on the fly rules. Prowler and I will answer all questions as quickly and clearly as possible. But will not answer anything without first doing our research, and then discussing the issue with each other (hint: don't try to play us against each other, it won't work). The criteria that we used in making this rulebook is exactly the same that we used for the Type One Rulebook and falls into three categories.
1- Is it for the betterment of the game?
2- Can the majority of the population understand it?
3- Is it difficult for the rules lawyers to break?
This document supersedes any 2ed or Type Two rules and rulebooks prior to January 1st, 2009. This Document is "OFFICIAL" as of January 1st, 2009. Any future updates/clarifications/errata/FAQ that we release will have a three week induction period to allow players to familiarize themselves with them and adjust accordingly.
We hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor and that it helps to balance the game in your eyes as well as our own.
