just an idea i wanted to see
What do you think about the world of Highlander if Darius was not killed by James Horton.
heard in an interview once that there was plans to make Darius a nemesis for Duncan.
imagine that world.
what are your opinions.

If they were to have turned Darius into a villain later in the series that would have been miserable.
The only way they could have done it and make it plausible would have been through a Dark Quickening and even then it would have been outlandish.
The way they portrayed Darius in the series and the novels I would have expected him to act similarly to Emrys if he ever left Holy Ground. He would probably end up in a confrontation, fight gracefully, and then lose, passing yet another Light Quickening.
I cannot envision an ample reason for Darius to leave Holy Ground and kill another Immortal in order to get the Dark Quickening.

Never heard any plans about Darius becoming evil but Highlander would be different if the actor had not died.
Fitz would have died in his first episode because there would have been no need for the last minute changes to the script. Chances are good that this would be the last time we would have seen the character.
We probably never would have seen Constantine or Nefertiri because Constantine was the attempt to replace Darius.
We may have never seen Kalas or Methos. Kalas was originally supposed to kill Methos, be overcome by the quickening, and become the replacement for Darius. This was changed because the people in charge liked how Peter played the character Methos and kept him alive.
This would also mean that the four horsemen would have been different because the character Methos may never have been created.

Darius the Warrior existed in the past and could be made a Persona for the game. One of the ideas the current design team should look at as a theme dual-duel deck set is to pit known past personas that we never saw fight versus others. It could be kept out of the mix of current day tournament since there is currently no way to mix future and past without resorting to the banned Time Era cards of the Raven edition. Wouldn't some of you like to see this?
