For anyone who watches the show....do you think Claire in an immortal? For the purposes of the Highlander show and movies, she would qualify. She is a foundling, she died young, along with her rapid healing and coming back from death make her a prime candidate. Maybe Hiro gets that Katana for Claire!

Also, it seems that Sylar's pseduo-decapitation routine would have killed her. Maybe she is.
My name is Claire of the clan McCheerleader, and I am immortal.

This may be spiler area for anyone who hasn;t watched p[ast epsiodes, so tread lightly....
One thing about Claire to remember is she didn't come back to life after being killed until the tree limb was removed from her head. So, I am guessing that if Sylar had cut her head open and taken her brain apart that would have been the end of her. Or maybe she would have healed, but as a vegetable without her brain function. That's a curse right there.

Yes, but Sylar doesn't take heads, just the tops of them - so he wouldn't have gotten Claire's quickening - No Soup For You!

You have to expect minor differences between various renderings of the Highlander mythos. If he too their entire head and got a lightning storm there's be copyright infringement issues. Served!

I guess if you can get a quickening by waving a sword over someone's head (Quentin MacLoed style) , then taking the top should get you something. Maybe that's how Uma Thurman's Bride stayed alive. Clealry she too is an immortal, taking O Ren's noodle topper. Hmmm.... More and more...

Sylar's definitely an immortal. Clinically dead long enough to get the doc to undo the straps, then he's up and killin' again.
