Not to mention it is possible that 2ed is being designed with being compatible with 1e as a secondary concern. It seems that the basic game is staying the same while the new rules may cause a little unblance with 1e. We will have to see though when all the cards are available , it might not be unbalanced once all the cards are on the table. Yea, I'd hate to see a new edition of a game I like make all my old stuff unusable, eh James?...

Hey, I never said everything would stay the same. But they've made a promise to allow the old cards in a mixed format, and to FAQ them as necessary to update them to the new rules. For instance, I imagine a bunch of cards revolving around dice rolls will go away, unless they can think of a good translation for the mechanic.

Off hand, I can only think of a few cards that had to do with die rolls, and it appears these have already been reprinted in 2nd ed. Can anyone think of cards other than Disarm and cards dealing with Prone effects?

Looking at the rules I don't see anything saying that there is a restriction to the number of Pregames allowed or that there can only be one of each type. I had the good fortune to pull two Nakano gold foils and those were heady weeks of starting with Ability of 17 until I read the clarification / errata restricting pre games to one of each type. How will this work in the 2E? Thanks.

Pre-games are still the same. Limit of 6, limit of one per title/picture. So you can have two Arms and Tactics, but you need two different images to have them in your pregame together.

Can anyone think of cards other than Disarm and cards dealing with Prone effects? There were a few others like Mugging and Unexpected Assistance that dealt with even damage, but overall there may have been only twenty or so die roll cards (including all the cards that influenced die rolls).
