Wow....just wow... I was away for the 4th of July weekend and come back to this. I was hoping it was an announcement about a resolution to the printing process, followed by planned releases for the rest of the year. Kinda speechless about this right now...I'll probably come back later to post about this.

It has sunk in and I have to say...this sucks.
I'm grateful to Brent, Tim, and all the other gentlemen who kept the game alive for these past few years and hope they return at some point continue the 3rd edition, which looked to have solved so many issues from the past versions of the game. The original post said nothing more in 2011, so maybe there will be a return of the game in 2012? Or maybe when the remake/reboot (eventually) hits theaters?
I've ordered the Duncan, Generic #2, and Consone packs and am looking forward to getting them, and I'll still be checking the board every day and will continue to hope for the future...

Is it not possible to at least print off some prize support packages to keep tournaments going? There is a lot of Prize Support printed. Just pm headswillroll and he will take care of those needs.

Speaking of whats already been printed, exactly what and how much if any of the June releases have been successfully printed and packaged? As one of the people who ordered 1 1/2 months ago, I'm curious as to what is going on.

Hi everyone !
IAm new here and to the game , and a bit lost between all the edition . But that’s not the subject here ^^
Anyone knows what was the latest publisher of the game ? Who still hold the mechanics of the game today ? And who to try to contact to use it ? (Not highlander game but the fighting system )
Thanks a lot

The owner of the system is a man named Mike. He has sold some of those rights to other players but maintains control to the system of the game. He did printing along with a few others. The design team and Mike are no longer on good terms. As far as the rights that still stays with Panzer
So three issues to solve.

Hi Thanks a lot for your answer . I am not sure to really understand who is responsible for what today and what are the paths to try to make something .
My goal could have been to « just » work on a game using most of the core mechanics but on a different background . But o think some mechanics rework on some points could be brought .
Depending on how deeply could be such reworking , could it be considered using swordmaster system ?
How can I enter in contacts with mike ? (If he is the man to talk with) Thanks

(If he is the man to talk with) Thanks Three easy steps to contact Mr. Mike: 1) Order something from him. 2) Wait three months, threaten with mail fraud charges for not receiving order. 3) As if by a miracle, you will be contacted. Sorry, not sorry.

I have attempted to contact him to see about the rights for the company (of which I have part ownership) and got nothing. The game has options for a future but it will require leadership

Hi all Thanks a lot for your answers . I am really new to the game and know nothing about its history and the people involved inside . It seems a bit confusing for me , and can understand that it is complex from your side too :/
Sorry to hear about that . I was pretty deeply involved in Netrunner at the time and know how things can be difficult with a stopped game...
I just would like to capture in a new and different game some things I think is pretty cool inside highlander . Not sure so if I fell under swordmaster system, and if I have to reach anybody here . Anyway if I can’t contact the author ...

I’m confused to as what is the sword master system exactly? Is it the format of the cards, the types of cards e.g., event, situation etc, or the attack/block grids.
And I guess the more challenging issue would be to gain access to use the highlander franchise right?
